Awardees of the Peter-Sitte-Prize (1999-2018)

In 2018, at the XIX. Jahrestagung der deutschen Sektion der ISE-G in Bremerhaven the award was presented to Korbinian Dischinger from the Ludwig-Maximilian University Munich for his poster on “OPR Protein-mediated Control of Chloroplast Gene Expression in Chlamydomonas“.

In 2017, at the XVIII. Jahrestagung der deutschen Sektion der ISE-G in Constance the award was presented to Marie-Kristin Nagel from the University of Constance for her poster on “Function of AMSH3 and SH3P2 in intracellular membrane trafficking in Arabidopsis thaliana“.

In 2015, at the XVII. Jahrestagung der deutschen Sektion der ISE-G in Berlin the award was presented to Anna Rast from the Ludwig-Maximilian University Munich for her poster on “Formation of thylakoid biogenesis centers in Synechocystis requires a homolog of the granal CURVATURE THYLAKOID1 protein“.

In 2014, at the XVI.  Jahrestagung der deutschen Sektion der ISE-G in Herzogenhorn the award was presented to Simone Stork from the University of Marburg for her poster on “How membrane proteins are imported into secondary plastids across the SEC61 complex

In 2012, at the XV. Jahrestagung der deutschen Sektion der ISE-G in Munich the award was presented to Catharina Huber from the University of Constance for her poster on “DEG10 protease in Arabidopsis thaliana“.

In 2011, at the XIV. Jahrestagung der deutschen Sektion der ISE-G in Düsseldorf the award was presented to Birgit Rengstl from the Ludwig Maximilians University Munich for her poster on “Thylakoid membrane biogenesis in cyanobacteria“.

In 2009, at the XIII. Jahrestagung der deutschen Sektion der ISE-G in Berlin the award was presented to Beatrix Dünschede from the University of Bochum for her poster on “cpSRP dependent LHCP transport and integration within chloroplasts of higher plants“. 

In 2006, at the XI. Jahrestagung der deutschen Sektion der ISE-G in Marburg the award was presented to Katharina Bräutigam from the University of Jena for her poster on “The impact of photosynthetic redox signals in chloroplast to nucleus communication“. 

In 2005, at the X. Jahrestagung der deutschen Sektion der ISE-G in Bremerhaven the award was presented to Sven Gould from the University of Marburg for his presentation on “Reine Logistik: Protein-Targeting in den Endosymbionten von Cryptophyten und die Aufgabe des periplastidären Kompartimentes“.

In 2003, at the IX. Jahrestagung der deutschen Sektion der ISE-G in Blaubeuren the award was presented to Michael Tillich from the Ludwig Maximilians University Munich for his presentation on “RNA Edierung in Plastiden“.

In 2002, at the VIII. Jahrestagung der deutschen Sektion der ISE-G in Blaubeuren the award was presented to Julia Prechtl from the University of Marburg for her presentation on “Ein neues DNA-haltiges Organell bei Rhopalodia gibba“.

In 2000, at the VII. Jahrestagung der deutschen Sektion der ISE-G in Kohren-Salis the award was presented to Christian Schmitz-Linneweber from the Ludwig Maximilians University Munich for his presentation on ” Kern-Plastom-Inkompatibilität am Beispiel von Tabak/Atropa-Cybriden”.

In 1999, at the VI. Jahrestagung der deutschen Sektion der ISE-G in Goslar the award was presented to Marcelo Desimone from the University of Freiburg for his presentation “Proteinstabilität und proteolytische Systeme in Chloroplasten“.

In 2018 national and international sections of ISE were united.

Next upcoming workshops take place 2020 in Kaiserslautern (organisation: Prof. Michael Schroda and Jun. Prof. Felix Willmund) and 2021 in Bochum (organisation: Prof. Danja Schünemann).

The next ISE conference, the 15th International Colloquium on Endocytobiology and Symbiosis, will take place 2022 at the Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago, USA (organisation: Dr. Felix Grewe).
